"Political constraints of what we do, calibre of other staff sometimes not high enough, very little structured career planning, sometimes lack of meritocracy, very demanding."

"Clearer focus on change, provide more support and clear direction to staff, trust people to take responsibility, more involved directly with staff."

"Not going to say anything at all about this for sure."

"As Deputy Director over property acquistions I was able to assist state agencies the in acquistion, dispoal and lease negotiation which allowed the agency to save money."

"To be patient with the state hiring process and reconginze that rewards have to be person since you are working for the public."

"Working for a public agency political enviorment was constatly changing."

"Allow employees to perform the duties with interfence and provide employees with need resources."

"We tried to help entreprenuers build the businesses and helping them succeed gave my pleasure."

"My advice would be not to do it, honestly. Beware of what they say, they hook you in and then do a complete 360 degree turnaround. They cannot be trusted."

"The Executive Director and the members of the board were completely incompetent. Not sure how long the company will even last."

"I would have done everything differently. The company is a non-profit and he treated it as a sole proprietership, even with the mishandling of funds."

"Be prepared to work with some of the finest men and women who is serving in today's Marine Corps and the Armed Forces."

"Some say it is the long hours, but I personally do not have any negative comments about working with the Marines."

"Stay informed, stay motivated, stay focused, listen to your staff and solicit their opinions and suggestions on process improvement and remember why you are working there."
