What do you like about working at Delta Faucet?

"The people at the plant were great to work with. Loved the continuous improvement projects. Enjoyed working on improvements in inventory controls; working on budget compliance and managing expenses; investigating problems; finding creative ways to fund spending; training non-financial folks in financial management"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask interview questions that will feret out the amount of time required to do the job, adequacy of staffing, turnover in the job, relationship of that plant job with corporate headquarters"

What don't you like about working at Delta Faucet?

"Corporate offices micromanaged Plant Management Staff. Corporate would complain that they weren't seeing improvements at the Plant but they required so much reporting and analysis that there wasn't time left to work on projects that benefitted the Plant. Corporate's silo management style hampered the Plant's team style. When Corporate Finance finally acknowledged the Plant Finance team was understaffed, they added another Corp analyst to ask the Plant more questions rather than put that person at the Plant so we could have the answers before they ask."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"work to replace staff more quickly and ensure right number of people at the plant to do the accounting work and reporting required by Corporate; clarify priorities between Corporate requests and plant improvement assistance needed; make Pant requests higher priority that Corporate requests"
