"Truthfully, the only part I enjoyed was in the beginning. That died over time."

"Don't interview for them and if you do, ensure it's for a temporary position."
What don't you like about working at Daytona State College?
"The place is reluctant to change, holding on to old values and false truths. The people with abilities to proceed are help back to prevent change. The ways things are handled end up being ridiculous because of this with an unmatched lack of communication."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They need to be overhauled with new employees. The upper management is not going to change the ways of old. They need to open up to the new world. On top of this, they need to have their salaries lowered so those below them may be raised to somewhat the average salaries in their respective field."

"DO NOT apply for the Lab Coordinator position unless that is what you want to do. They will NEVER move you to faculty from there."

What suggestions do you have for management?
"When I got my Masters I got only $1,000 annual raise with more responsibilities. The raise does not even pay for my school loans. I lost when I got better educated. Still stand NO oppurtunity for movement to faculty. Even when I get PhD will not take me on as faculty."

"Not being offered a full time position unless I earn a PHD in Education."
