"I would not recommend working for this company. Employees are not supported, not given adequate training and tools to do the jobs assigned, and not treated respectfully."

What don't you like about working at DaVita?

"The company makes it very clear through every company practice that profits, rather than patient and staff well-being, is the most important consideration, while claiming to be the best dialysis company in the world. No matter what your role in the clinics, the workload is completely unrealistic. The management seems remote and clueless about what it is like to work in the clinics. Employees are managed in a culture of fear and intimidation, and this gets passed on to patients, whose lives depend on dialysis. This company is very unethical as an employer and as a health care provider."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would have a more realistic understanding of what it is like to work on the front lines in DaVita facilities. I would cut out the phony corporate culture."

"My likes are: it is close to home, there is a certain amount of professional satisfaction, and paydays."

"Do not come to work for this company; it could ruin your career."

"The work load is unrealistic for most of the staff. The company mantra of being the best dialysis company in the world is dishonest."
