"DaVita used to be a great company to work for, but no more."

What don't you like about working at DaVita?

"The company no longer cares about its teammates. The bottom line became more important, and it is all a numbers game. People services makes very bad judgement calls. People who should have been terminated were allowed to keep their jobs, and others were fired who should have been able to stay."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Remember that without the teammates, the company would not be what it is today. Give credit where it is due. Fix people services, especially in team renaissance."

What do you like about working at DaVita?

"I liked it when it was smaller and that the M&V meant something."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Money isn't the only thing that one should look at. Ask around and ask why the current postion is open. If you don't work 12 hours or more a day including weekends, you might fail quickly. There is no family/work balance."

What don't you like about working at DaVita?

"Now people are out for the money, and everyone is replaceable. Retention does not matter. It is very subjective."

"Data driven organization - not with compensation or evaluation. This should be improved upon."

"Leadership needed to be more aware of what was going on around them."

"Stay far, far away from this company."

"Unless you wanted to sleep your way to the top, you weren't moving up or lasting in the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Fire the human resources department and their corporate compliance department. Once you file a complaint about someone sexually harassing you, they remove you from the company. The employee relations manager likes to sleep around and then fire center managers. And then they promoted him. Go figure."

"I enjoy the environment and the customers."

"Be confident, and go into this experience with an open mind and a willingness to learn new things."

"I enjoy it!"

"Be a little more organized with employees who clock in and out."

"After the acquisition of Gambro, there was nothing to like about DaVita."

"Don't bother with the interview. You would be better off applying somewhere else."

"If you kiss up to the top executives and their assistants, you won't be employed there for long. The HR manager is in bed with the executives, so there is no one to support the employees."

"They should stop robbing the company of all the financial assets, and share it with the employees by implementing a 401k plan."

"It is difficult if you don't work as a team."

"It was great in the beginning, but then many changes came down which were not for better."

"I disliked management, and being on call for a very large coverage area."

"Get a new manager who is in touch with what actually goes on in the field."

"I got to utilize my skills and experience in electrical & electronics and mechanical fields to achieve targets in a professional manner, and I worked very well with all kinds of people. I was able to turn around a negative working environment and develop a very supportive team. It gave me a chance to grow."

"Focus, and review your documentations."

"I can't think of anything bad to write about my job. It gave me a chance to practice what I know, and learn more."

"Be able to talk openly and discuss all views."

What do you like about working at DaVita?

"I did not like working at DaVita. The individuals in the human resources department are sub-par at best, and they are liars. They do very little to protect their employees, which they refer to as teammates. They do not award you raises and/or evaluations on time. I had to wait over a year to have them provide me with my evaluation. And I never received my retro-active pay. I had to keep asking them to do my review and kept reminding them that it was severely past-due. Although I did not get my raise, I was asked to take on more responsibilities that I was not compensated for."

"Don't bother."

What don't you like about working at DaVita?

"What I didn't like about DaVita were the people who were supposed to be in charge (aka the teammates within the human resources department)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My suggestion to management is to review the supposed leaders whom they have working for them in human resources, and to clean house and start over with competent individuals who can take on the responsibilities associated with the department."

What don't you like about working at DaVita?

"They are not an equal opportunity employer. There are too many cliques. If you don't fit in, they tend to ignore you."

"Save money in other costs, so that you will be able to have a higher budget in payroll if you choose to."
