"Davita has a very good company culture. It drives teamwork and good rapport with teammates. Large milestones are celebrated as a team, and that makes us all want to work harder together. We celebrate with our teams and as a company every year."
"I’ve worked for Davita for 4 years. The culture in the company is rich in culture and I they promote a strong team environment. "You'll have an opportunity to excel if you drink the kool-aid. It is very clickish and siloed. There is a shinny object syndrome in the IT org that kills progress. The people are great and the ideals are worthy. The politics get in the way of the vision."
"I have worked for DaVita for 5 years and recommend it for anyone early in their career. However, I don't recommend DaVita for mid-career professionals. If you don't have an MBA from an elite B School, they don't have a place for you for advancement."
"Davita is a nice place to work with much flexibility."
"Davita, is well know name in the world of Kidney Dialysis. I have been working with Davita for past 1 year as a Sr. Flex Developer. It's been a great experience working with one of the best fleet of developers and architects. The management and overall company environment is very employee friendly with emphasis on flat hierarchy."
"Really a horrible place to try to build a career. I had to threaten to quit to get a promotion I had been doing for more than 2.5 years. After communicating my promotion my director realized that she had made a mistake by not promoting me sooner as the rest of the organization saw me in the position. Now that I've been promoted I'm not allowed to do my role, but I'm currently stuck hand holding people and being excluded at every turn. Good ideas are not encouraged, toeing the company line is."
"During my time at Davita Healthcare Partners I found the company to be very dynamic forward thinking. The people they choose to hire are some of the brightest I have ever worked with. The culture is amazing. They do a great job of instilling the mission in every employee. Davita Healthcare Partners is a great place to work, hands down! I recommend Davita Healthcare Partners without reservation to anyone looking to broaden their skills and knowledge in healthcare."
"Davita/Lifeline is the absolute worst place to work, Managers have little or no experience or knowledge of the medical field. All that matters is encounter numbers. Annual bonuses were promised, but never forthcoming. Benefits are terrible, annual raises are a joke.CEO has a monthly salary in excess of 1 million dollars. Do yourself a favor, if you are considering working for Davita/Lifeline, seek employment elsewhere."
"DaVita is a company that is dedicated to excellence in dialysis care. Their Denver office is beautifully equipped with necessary technology, and they demonstrate care for the environment by providing extensive recycling opportunities. A team environment is essential to DaVita's success, and the company demonstrates its core values in everything they do."

What don't you like about working at DaVita?
"DaVita is all about numbers. Your hours are based on how many patients are at your clinic. Our clinic is getting slammed but we can't hire another nurse because the numbers say we're doing fine with our current staffing. Nurses spend between 43-50 hours a week working a 4-day work week. It's impossible to move within the company too. DaVita loves to hire from the outside so much that a lateral move is like pulling teeth. (I still haven't pulled this off.) Oh, and they don't match any of your 401K!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop all the micromanaging or just do the task yourself."
