"Show your spirit of constant improvement, of wanting to be better and do better."
What don't you like about working at Toyota?
"Too much micromanaging, too much supervision, and too much focus on the details in lieu of the big picture. A lot of time is wasted in my department, and it is intensely frustrating."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would encourage a work culture in which innovative ideas and approaches are considered. That is part of the Toyota Way, but in reality, I have been beaten into doing things the way they've always been done."

"Lack of ability to work and be paid for overtime -- lack of opportunity for advancement"

"Honestly, nothing. In my division, though, I would pay everyone more -- but the company might run into the ground because of it!"

"The relative amount of freedom I had to get my work done. I was given a task and allowed to complete it without being micromanaged."

"The office positions are ok work. The production positions are very tedious and repetitive so be prepared."

"The atmosphere within the company is one of sorrow and despair. Most keyers in the different units do not make that much money despite what the company claims they can potentially make."
