The only downside being the Data Center Operations Manager was I placed myself right in the middle of the overnight phone calls to support 24x7x365. I signed up for this position and realize this level of support is required."

"I enjoy the challenges of managing several large data centers and server rooms. All management occurs remotely, however I would benefit if I was able to travel to each location at least once a year. The department budget is controlling the amount of travel."

"It was literally a dark and dirty place to work. Carbon (COAL) dust was everywhere including the keyboards and desk. My office was located nest to the warehouse where they assembled and refurbished deep mining equipment."
