What is missed is the difference within various departments: Ops, HR, Mktg, Finance, Accounting, IT, etc. It is not equal as each one can choose how to show appreciation to their teams, but it isn't mandatory nor is it required. Imagine knowing that your hard work doesn't get even half the praise/training budget as other dept's yet they boast about an avg./employee that is admirable. Mgmt change needed!"
