"I liked the autonomy because I did the work that needed to be done, but at the same time was able to learn new things, sometimes at the expense of a mistake."

"Stay focused, do the work and they'll be fine, but there isnt much room for advancement."

"The enviornment was not appealing to work in. Coolant and oil filled the air and sometimes the ground."

"They should implement six sigma into their practices as they would save a lot more money, and help prevent problems before they even occured"

"The drive was very far."

"Safety was a big problem."
"Before the downturn in the economy, DACO was everything I could have asked for in a company."
What do you like about working at DACO?
"The companies stability, it has been around since 1930 and I would still be there if the economy had not turned. The opportunity to run the operations of inbound and outbound shipments and 60,000 s.f. of raw material and finished goods was great. We started looking into a larger location and it would have been a great opportunity to set up a larger facility from scratch."

"Be yourself and have confidence in your abilities, don't be afraid to ask questions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"DACO did business with CATERPILLAR and they were 87% of the revenue, which hurt this past January when CAT laid off 20,000 employees. I would hope that they look for other companies to work with and not be so dependant on one company."
