Submit a Review"I love the interaction with the customer and vendors. If everyone is on the same page work is a beautiful thing. It is a simple problem of supply and demand. We buy something because the customer requires it and if there is no stock and there is a lead time you hold the MFR accountable and stay on top of them until you deliver it."

"Overall solid experience and I made lifelong memories."

"The people -- family oriented environment in large financial services firm. Additionally, the casual nature (dress, internal meetings, virtual working, etc.) of the regional office is appealing."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

What don't you like about working at Fannie Mae?
"Too bureaucratic/hierarchical given experience of employees. Most of this is driven by the regulator. Weak management is an issue with no defined track for promotions/upward movement. Reward system is flawed and seems partial (not what you know but who you know)"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Shake it up and make changes in the regional offices where most managers have been in the same role for 10+ years. Diversity is also lacking in the management ranks."
