"I've worked here for 3 months. California State University is truly a great place to work for. They really care about their employees, by offering a lunch-room for them, letting them set their hours as long as they met the weekly quota of working hours, let them walk around the building if they are too sluggish and tired, Starbucks runs in the morning to energize. They don't stress you out about deadlines and give it to you either month to month deadlines or give you yearly deadlines. This is great because they trust their employees to do the work by that time. It gives employees autonomy in how they want to arrange their time to meet deadlines. They also offer a great health program for their employees to stay fit as well. They truly care about the well-being of their employees. It was a shame though that majority of the people either had a change of job titles or lost their places because of the organizational management that came in and changed the structure at CSUN due to budget cuts. If I had a choice, I would come back here any day, any time for another job that I knew was going to be stable and guaranteed."
