What do you like about working at Cryptic Studios?
"I loved the atmosphere, people, products, tools. It was very friendly place with huge potencial and people were so exited selling their souls till the product failed and AtarI took over."

"Good place to work at least was when I was working there."

"The Art Director was incompetent, he had no even basic preparation for this function. The company lost millions if dollars"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Overall good management, demanding and firm (producers) except the Art Director who become buddy with few chosen ones and he did not really paid attention to what really needs to be done."
What do you like about working at Cryptic Studios?
"I'm surrounded by intelligent people. It's not enough just to say that my co-workers are smart; each of them is a genius in a different area of expertise. I can always count on my teammates to do good work, on time, without a fuss.I also enjoy the fact that my team has no office politics!"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Play lots of games and make sure that you have opinions that you can back up about why some games succeed and what makes a game fun."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Focus on one vision and see it through instead of constantly changing gears."
"Was a great place to work, and love the people there. Job security was great until the surprise lay-offs."

"Relaxed atmosphere. Game Room. Despite the relaxed appearance everyone was there to get the job done, and done well. Very friendly."

"Upper management may make decisions that don't seem to make any sense."

"Listen to the professionals they hire. :)"
