"Stay away from Crown Awards. The place is a sea of cubicles, it’s hot all the time like a sweatshop. New hires are unwelcomed. The training director is judgemental, the equipment is old and dusty, no cell phone policy, can’t eat at your desk. Management comes in late and leaves early. It’s like a bunch of zombies."
"The worst employer in Westchester County! Please stay away at all costs. The owners of company along with the managing director will hire you under the pretense that you have a career path. In actuality, most new hires are lucky if they make it to a year. I have seen them let dedicated employees go who had been with them for nine, ten, eleven years only because they want to trim their budget. Loyalty means NOTHING to them and what they do to counteract the negative reviews is post fake positive ones on Glassdoor. In my time there, I have seen them hire marketing execs, only to take their ideas and get rid of them in three months. One young lady was hired right out of college and turned down an offer with another company. In less than two months, Crown Awards let her go because they "didn't like her voice". I can go on and on. Again, STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! They will force you to work in their call center and let you go right after the busy season at the end of June."
"Don't waste your time with this company. The 'ask not what your company can do for you' attitude creates low morale and a frustrating working environment. Lower than industry standard compensation and benefits while insisting on 50 to 60 hour work weeks for salaried employees eliminates any quality of life you may hope to have. Job security doesn't exist, as they're always posting for the same jobs that they fill to find someone cheaper. Turnover is over 90%."
"I have worked for CrownAwards for a few years now and I have seen it improve tremendously. This biggest issue that this company faces is it's inability to understand what "Quality-of-Life" means. If you have an employee working 65 hours a week and is salaried. That doesn't mean you should thank him and move on. Compensate and realize the quality of worker you have on your staff."
"I worked for Crown Awards since April 2013 through October 2013 and found it to be a micro managed environment without a lot of room to grow."
