"I think the fact that we needed more training because of the staff speaking spanish it was hard for some supervisor to communicate with staff. Training material in spanish would also be great having more spanish supervisor's and upper management would let the Hispanic staff see that they could go to them without being afraid of talking to them about issues and concerned."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be able to spend time with staff letting them getting to know you as a person. Also avoid those negative habits many of us now in management position have witnessed in our predecessors. To succeed in the workplace, it's important for workers to demonstrate trustworthiness, honesty and an ability to collaborate."

"Most of my staff wasn't able to speak English which made my job in management a little trying when attempting to communicate something of importance that needed to be down immediately."

"None at this time. They are doing there best to weed out the none English speak workers because of the importance of the position in Cedars-SinaI Medical Center."
