"Worked at Cox on and off for 9 years. The company used to be a good employer relative to the 4 other companies I worked for in the past. The pay's decent. But almost impossible to move up the corporate ladder, unless you're in their good boy and girl network. The supervisors don't care about succession planning or employee career growth. It's not a good place to be for mid-career professionals and even harder for the aging demographics. I think HR is now paying more attention to the younger workforce and focused on bring in lots of college hires. I also witnessed discrimination for specific diversity and older age groups. Lots of seasoned employees being packaged out every 6 months."

Sometimes more support is needed and that can be difficult to find but overall I prefer the freedom that I have to work my way and succeed at CMG. My way seems to work however, I don't know if its different for those that aren't meeting their budget expectations."
