"It depends on which position one is applying for, difficult to say. Even though it was taken private same people are managing the company."

"no career growth opportunities, lot of politics, company is known for exploitng H1B visa holders. People who left has progressed in career than who did stick to the company. Nepotism and politics plays a great role in deciding promotion and project assignments. I have a friend who managed to get his wife Test Engineer job. In a year she became Business Analyst. Do you need a concrete example of nepotism and politics. At the same time who have masters degrees and calibre got struck in useless roles."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management don't take suggestions. If it does company would be in a better position than it is now. Company conduct employees survey once in every three months and completely ignore their feedback. Employees stopped giving constructive criticism because it is of no use."

"continue development of employees..fast paced technology requires experts and hands on that long term employees have versus learning curve for significant new hire replacements. Learning curve slows moving products to market quickly."

"With the economy down-turn, Covad was forced to do several workforce reductions which resulted in low employee morale and constantly changing Company objectives."

"I believe management did they best they could with the effects of the economy down-turn. They kept employees informed of upcoming changes and challenges. I believe with the recent corporate realignment, they will once again be a successful and profitable company."

"be prepared to call leads that are over 5 years old."

"They were not effectively driving their business for revenue forcasts. There was no marketing. There was only google ad word advertising. Network was limited to the Bay Area, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Chicago."

"Yes! Work hard don't let any particular account drive you nuts, and you will win in the end."

"it has all changed and they don't push voip like they used to , but it was to late"
