"get a new origination engine! EDGE sucks as does AS400"

What do you like about working at Countrywide Home Loans?

"I liked working with people who were on the same level as myself. We were all looking to grow as an individual and as a department within the company. The financial compensation for doing my job was outstanding and it was close to where I live, which was awesome as well. Because my child has a special need, Sr Management worked with me when it came to care and doctors appts."

What don't you like about working at Countrywide Home Loans?

"I did not like the fact that sometimes the employees are micro-managed. There is also a lot of politicking that happened when the company was still around. Since Bank of America has taken us over, I've been demoted and my pay cut. Also, since I've had to move across the Valley from where I live, if I use my FMLA for my child, I get penalized."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"BAC: Listen to your employees, place them where they need to go and TRY to actually compensate them for their skill set and training on the same level. If we belong on the mortgage side, help us get there. Just because we're not friends with an SVP or a VP doesn't mean that we're not worthy of our job."
