What don't you like about working at Countrywide Home Loans?

"The most unethical company I've ever worked for. If you didn't know the right people, grease the right palms, kiss the right behind, you would be passed up for a well deserved promotion. They showed favoritism, got away with belittling employees, outright verbally abusing employees and when employee relations was contacted, they all stuck together and brushed it under the rug as if were just something that happens and to just deal with it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To be fair and stop looking out for management when they break the law and look out for the employees. I have never been treated with such dissregard and dissrespect in the ten years that I worked for this company. They claim to be ethical and on the contrary, they were anything but ethical. I don't know how they got away with what they did for so long."

"If you do not want a life or you want to work until you are Physically sick and burnt out by all means work for this company!"

"Unfairness to managers - do not follow their own policies and procedures - allow employees to trash management"

"The money was great...while you were stealing from homeowners and contributing to the economic collapse of the 21st Century"

What don't you like about working at Countrywide Home Loans?

"Countrywide is where the soul goes to die. As you moved up in the ranks people got lazier and expected their underlings to work twice as hard to continue pad their bank accounts. No one was interested in a work/life balance and you were only as good as your last month. I did very well at the company and made quite a bit of money at the expense of my family and personal life....Working 11-14 hour days, I took off maybe 5 saturdays a year in my career there. Middle and Upper Management couldn't be more nepotisitc and underhanded...truely the bottom of the barrel of the finance world with the attitude that their $hit didn't stink. Well most of those self-proclaimed big time money makers are still on unemployment."
