"It's not about what you know, it's who you know. Lots of closed door meetings. Country club like. Managers drinking whiskey with the cool kids. The pay is sub par at best. You get told it's a perk to work on Cape Cod. But yet they do business worldwide. I stayed 5 years too long. I bumped my salary 25k when I left. The CEO and his sidekick are funny to watch at times."
"I have worked for CDS for several years. Moved to the QA group from Data Entry. Atmosphere is very much a country club, favorites get private time for a drink or two in managers offices. Pay is lousy, if you are not management or senior level then the pay rate is below normal. There is no work/life management, that is just a myth."
"It is a small company still has many growing pains. Not the greatest of heath plans which is important to me."
"Excellent company, excellent people. Hired by the owner/president and CEO of the company, along with the COO as the manager of information services. I was promoted to Director of Information Service and technology within 6 months. 1.5 years later I was promoted to VP of information services and technology and was part of the senior management team, setting direction and policy for the company. My experience at CDS was second only to my work experience at Digital Equipment corp."
