"Keep in mind that even though you probably have excellent technical skills, there is probably someone else out there who is better: stay humble."

"There seemed to be an uncertainty about the future of the company, which was accurate since it was taken over by Hewlett-Packard not long after my contract ended."

"Keep doing what you're doing in terms of employee satisfaction."

"Can't really think of anything - this was a great place"

"Compaq was purchased by HP, most of culture has now been replaced with that of HP's"

"I began as a contract employee to initiate automated software testing. Following successful completion of my initial automated test project I was hired as a regular employee. While there I enjoyed assignments of increasing complexity and diversity. While I enjoyed working on isolated projects, I would have enjoyed more feedback relative to the overall progress of the product."

"The company will offer you low wages even when you have vast experience."

"HP taking over and changing the culture to one of always worrying about lay offs"
