What do you like about working at Farmers?

"The pay and benefits."

What don't you like about working at Farmers?

"Minimal long term direction for employees as annual goals were not set until the 2nd or 3rd quarter of the year. Sales organization is structured similar to a multi level marketing company. Training of sales persons is limited to a sales managers' (who is NOT a direct employee of the company) motivation to sell rather than on product need of the client."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Provide QUALITY training to sales persons. It is imperative that clients receive the protection they need rather than the sales flavor of the month mentality for product selection. Survival as a sales person is exclusively based on volume of sales and not quality of service. The clients of a failed sales person roll up to a chosen few making longevity and management favoritism the prevailing method of being successful."
