"Management is clueless. IT department not supportive. I overheard leadership talking about how in this business it's okay to treat people like crap. Sleeping on the job gets you promoted. Management does last-second company reviews (had weeks to conduct them). No raises. No chance of advancement unless your buddy is up in management. I was told I will never be anything at this company by my superior in my yearly review (after 7 plus years of good reviews). I will be quitting as soon as I line up another opportunity."

"I would suggest that project managers be required to have a technical background"

"Global company. Nothing else is good unless you enjoy having to constantly validate your skills and abilities."

"Keep looking because there is no career bliss here unless you enjoy 24/7 work and fixing the mistakes of management that can't seem to keep their hands off of things."

What don't you like about working at Comau Inc.?

"A sinking ship that can't seem to bail itself out. HR forces policy and procedure down your throat with a Do as I say not as I do philosophy. Good ol boy netowrk where indivduals are in positions not because of their skillset but because they have a buddy that got them the job. Long hours, forced to woek holidays, management tells you that you need to return a call within 5 minutes which is impossible if you ever have to use a bathroom, shower, or see a movie with your family; all on a weekend or holiday."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Eliminate the good ol boy network and follow your own policies."

"Some of the people I work with are great and want to see you succeed."

"There is no room for growth. You don't get a sense that you are valued by the company. It is a very reactive company, rather than a proactive company."

"Talk to the employees. Find out what is working and what isn't and find ways to make it better and to bring team morale up."

"Don't interview, there are better places out there even in the current economy. Like Best Buy."

"No job advancement or raises. Lack of direction from management. Inconsistent standards for products and employees."

"File for bankruptcy or learn how to manage. Ten years should be enough time to turn a company around."
