What do you like about working at Colonial Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center?
"I love reviewing and assessing patients. Every case is different & I learn from the medical conditions, treatments, successes & failures. I enjoy spending time with residents helping them heal, improve enough to go home or keep them safe and comfortable until they pass away."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be honest about your expectations, be passionate about elder care, be ready to deomonstrate our skills in the interview and be willing to interveiw with numerous depatment heads."
What don't you like about working at Colonial Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center?
"I really dislike loosing residents to celestial discharges (deaths) I am often discouraged by the unorganization of the company, the improper care I occassionaly witness and have to report . The amount of hours I put it without the abilty to make bonus or overtime. I make 70K less than I did last year."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Policies and procedures should be written out and followed. A structured training program should be put in to place for all positions. If there is an 80% turn over in the nursing department perhaps asking the nurses to give you suggestions on how to imporve their loyalty would be a good place to start and perhaps hiring an agency until this is solved so quality of patient care is not compromised in the mean time."
