"If you are reliant on yourself as the sole means for income, beware. Building your book of business takes time and you are responsible for all aspects of the sale, before, during, and after as a 1099 employee."

What don't you like about working at Colonial Life?

"1099 status. I cannot support myself with its pay structure. Time is not on your side. The clock is ticking as you train yourself and try to make a sale."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Please offer realistic compensations based on time and efforts of agent's work ethic. Currently, thegreatest compensation structure is slanted towards those doing the least amount of work."

"Enjoy working with people and the sense of accomplishment when identifying a solution."

"Take your time and make sure to gather all needed information on initial client visit."

"Difficult to follow up and procure missing information from client after the enrollment has ended."

"Be more of an onsite presence while individual enrollments are taking place."
