"College Nannies Sitters and Tutors is a nannying agency that offers various positions to candidates of all types. The company is a national corporation with franchisees in more than 30 states. If you want to work for this company as a nanny or sitter, this review does not reflect that type of work environment since those positions are more flexible and creating your own availability. This review is specifically for the Chicago-based offices in Chicago for office positions, only. The business owners do not appear to have the employees' best interests at heart. Even prior to the pandemic, the work/life balance was a struggle and the owners actually discouraged growth and advancement. While I love the work that I do, in the two years I've been with the company, I've seen a significant turnover rate. It has gotten to the point that there are only two office employees, myself being one, and we are spread incredibly thin because the owners refuse to accommodate or hire anyone new. This company should be an ideal work environment, with the ability to work from home, but these specific employers do not allow for things like that. The job itself is a wonderful job, working with wonderful employees and helping others find jobs and making things work for them. I found great joy in the work that I do, but I wanted to advance my career and feel valued for the work that I do, and this work environment does not accommodate that."
