"Amazing work ethic, great working directly with the CTO, provided mentorship and support when needed. Worked in a trustworthy environment which allowed me to learn and grow a lot."
"I worked for the company for a little under a year officially, but through contract work for much longer. Unfortunately the job as described when I was brought on was much different than what was expected of me and this cause misunderstanding and friction. Overall I think this company will be successful and most of the folks you will work with are fantastic."
"I've worked for Cobalt Mortgage since 2012. I've found that this was a strong company and had very ethical values. They have just merged with Caliber Home Loans and things to be complicated with little communication between their staff."
"I have worked for cobalt for over a year now and this is a great company for those who enjoy a career where everything is settled. Though for a person like me who likes to move around and up, there are barriers in which I do feel like they make it too difficult to cross."
"Be prepared to be a glorified customer service rep. This company has lots of great employees under their nose, yet they won't let anyone move into a role that is better suited for them and now those employees are leaving. Supervisors act more like babysitters and don't care about employees or morale."
"Good compensation and computer system to work with. Management was not too forthcoming."
"Good environment but low pay"

What don't you like about working at Cobalt?
"While the company is pretty large, unless you are interested in management, there isn't a lot of opportunity for upward mobility. The vacation and sick time is not that great and there isn't a lot of flexibility. The pay is ok, but nothing great that will keep really good employees around long-term."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There are lots of other companies in the area (much smaller than ADP/Cobalt) that pay well higher than what employees are paid here for similar work.
