"The predident of the club allows me to set my own schedule. Being a golfer for over 30 years I feel very comfortable in this business."

"Work on a plan to bring in more members which is the life line of a small Country Club."
What don't you like about working at DeFuniak Springs Country Club?
"With it being a small club they are unable to provide health insurance or a retirement plan."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Continue to do what they are doing when it comes to managing their expenses."

"It was a great opportunity to learn how to start a business from ground up."

"My particular situation was different, because we lost our District manager(my mentor at the time) 2 weeks before we opened my location. I then had to make all the decisions and adjustments alone. But again, great learning experience."

"It's a retail job. Therefore, the member traffic and current sales dictated when you worked."

"Get to know your employees. Too many decisions are based on the employee number, and not the employee."

"I live the brand, which is working out and maintaining a healthy life, so I practice what I preach and I believe in the mission."

"I dislike the sales approaches and the marketing that is geared towards the web."

"Continuously strive to be a great leader by studying your product often, listening to your team, and do not ever stop coaching your team, and most importantly, yourself."
