"I've worked for Clean Harbors since the fall of 2019 right before the Covid crisis began. They provide good training, and the people are all very welcoming. For a large environmental company they do the best to be inclusive and provide a positive work environment at all times."
"I've worked for this company for about a year now. I can say I've enjoyed my time, but due to my position as a temp I do not believe I will be able to make it much farther in the company. This a respectable company in most aspects."

"A waste management company that is strengthening its Technological side to support its business"
"Clean Harbors is an acquisition-focused company. It is not an employee-focused company. The CEO brags on CNBC about the billions of dollars in profits then sends letters out annually to employees thanking them for their role in those profits with a comical break down of your benefits value. I find it insulting. Don't send the letters out unless it has a check or a pay increase. The profit money is used to purchase flailing companies. The employees inherited from previous acquisitions are not properly trained, let alone long standing employees..... Raises are not attainable unless you have an offer from another company or have a strong manager that communicates your value efficiently and threatens your leaving if a pay increase is not offered. Mid level employees are stretched thin across all lines of business and departments. When someone quits, the position is no longer available and the workload is dispersed on already overworked individuals. The arrogance felt from the CEO is next level. Believing that this company is a gift to those employed and hard work goes unrewarded. Aside from executive level staff, people are pleasant and easy to get along with."
"I have worked for Clean Harbors for well over 6 years now and there has been some improvements, but there still is a long way to go for recognition, training and overall future growth within the ranks of IT here and they should really look at restructuring the levels of positions within groups here."
"If you are a sales rep this is not the place for you. If you are an operation person who wants to be a sales representative this is your place. Company turns a sales role into a customer service role. Stuck in 80's management style. Most sales people have no drive because that is the model. Compensation is base plus bonus, really can't control success/failure. Basically, has grown from acquisition and no real sales modeling or focus. Upper and middle management have no background in sales."
