"I think that City Year is a great opportunity for any person. You are given the ability to find the true value of your own work ethic. There will always be discrepancies between work ethic and capabilities and this is a great place to discover how to deal with that. Being able to work hard and see a result is important and there are people dedicated to a corps member experience. Working for City Year was a perfect after college choice for me."

"Teaching and learning from my students was one of the most successful moments in my life. Working diligently with students ages (7-12) on ELA (English) curriculum and behavioral improvement on both a tier one and two level. Ensuring that kids are on track both inside and outside of school."
