"I've worked at the City of Raleigh for 6 years in two different roles and departments. The City itself is an overall average place to work. Before Covid-19 I did feel like there were a lot of opportunities for professional growth, but since the reaction to the pandemic there has been a emphasis on service and not necessarily on employee's. I almost feel like I've worked in two different companies while being at the same place. It's a safe place to work and many people do it with excellence. I've enjoyed my time there but unfortunately there's been a lot of change and it's time for me to move on."
"I enjoy my career at the City of Raleigh because it exposes me to a diverse set of technologies. The only issue is advancement is difficult because there are not enough jobs available within the city government."
