"I have been employed with the City of Memphis Fire Dept. for almost two years now. it is an awesome job and great experience in its field of work. The employees and job environment is great. The salary is great and offers multiple route of upward mobility within the department itself. The only discrepancy with the job is that the city is considering doing away with employees pension and insurance plans. This has many of its employee reconsidering employment elsewhere."
