The city employees a little over 1500 employees providing a variety of services to the citizens of high point such as police, fire, public services, public utilities, transportation, parks & recreation services, a library, a museum, golf courses and a marina. In an effort to rebuild the downtown area, the first catalyst project, Truist Baseball Stadium, was a huge success and other anchor businesses and retail opportunities are underway. The International Furniture Capital of the world is quickly becoming a new place to eat, play and live!
