If you haven't worked in an environment with so many bosses, one would find it overwhelming. Learn who the gatekeepers are. These are the staff persons who can make or break you in your career path. Like any workplace there are good and bad days working in a municipal, but from humble opinion the good out way the bad days."

"This employer is good for people who want to do as little as possible. The system is very political and is upset every four years if and when a new mayor is elected. Many times budget goes to issues as defined by the voters and not necessarily where it is needed."
