"I have worked at City National Bank for 8 months. On a personal level, I found every individual - from multiple teams - to be a joy to work with. Constructive criticism would be that there is a lot of opportunity for better business practices. Particularly between business groups to establish clear accountability and alignment to the larger business goals."
"I have been working at City National Bank for over 5 years and have found it to be a rewarding experience for those who want to learn new things and grow within an organization. There are some departments that are far more organized than others and managers do not appear to have much training on how to manage people. All in all, it is a great place to work, however things are changing rapidly. New executives appear focused on how they did things at their former companies; making a lot of process and organizational changes that are not necessarily best for the bank. There are a lot of silos and a lack of communication between colleagues that are supposed to be working together. Execs have their heads in the clouds."
"Good benefits and friendly. The salary is not the best."
"the systems are a bit outdated. there are a lot of opportunities to move on up as long as you put in the time and effort of your production. your goals are realistic and achievable. If you're a self starter and are willing to look up information to answer your questions, you will do just great."
"One of the best companies ever."
"I worked in this company for a year. I had a chance to be the first operational excellence team with automation scope in the company. The company has such a great incentives and strives for bringing out the best in everyone"
"I've worked at CNB for nearly two years in IT management and it has been a fairly difficult environment to work in from a technology perspective. Very outdated legacy IT and process, senior level management been here for decades and unwilling to embrace new technology or process. With some changes at CEO and now CIO level there is a small chance for change but so far it has not materialized in any effective manner. I would advise caution if coming to work in IT at City National Bank."
"I worked for CNB for 22 years. Their ultimate success in growing the company tenfold during my tenure, was primarily driven by a strong culture of collaboration, integrity, entrepreneurship, dedication and relationships. From the CEO on down, CNB is the finest company I have ever had the pleasure to work for."
"I've worked a total of 18 years with this company and overall it has been an excellent company for growth and opportunity. Training is amply available if you seek to advance; through their online academy. Morale varies with departmental managers and I have come across a few poor experiences in this area. Lots of office politics and "black ball" of employees who complain witnessed."
"City National Bank was a great place to work for."
"I am happy to work here but my relatives in Richmond, VA planning to move permanently and settle there."
"Great Company to work for and has a lot of room for growth. Satisfaction is the team that I was a part of. The people there are very supportive and helpful. Quality is a very high priority all around. The management team has a great feel for the business."
"Datafaction is an amazing company to work at. It is very much a start-up feel in terms of how they behave with customers. People are very friendly and they actually listen to ideas and work to get them done. They have a great product and great employees who really like the company. I'd highly recommend working here."
"Love working for City National Bank, however, I'm relocating to Daytona Beach, FL. I've worked there for nearly 13 years and have moved up in the company several times. My co-workers are like my family. They will be very missed."
"A solid company but behind on technology"
