"Be prepared for the Civil Service Exam and do the best you can. Study the information which pertains to the job and be prepared to answer technical questions."

What don't you like about working at City of Los Angeles?

"The City is not flexible with work schedules or tele-commuting. Most positions can be accomplished by tele-commuting, which in turn will save the City money, but they do not offer that option."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I believe looking at the current economical disaster the City is in, they should look at other options to cut costs. They manage the City's revenue and budget blindly. They seem to spend money on the wrong things and do not reserve proper funding for possible future problems."
