"It was a good experience in a very fast pace environment. I liked the professionalism and the compromise of its employees at all levels."

"Compliance -Latin America Regional Office was restructured in August 2006. The personnel had to report to Banamex-Mexico and the conditions changed."

"It was to short (4 months)."

"That position introduced me in the marketing field. It was a very good opportunity to learn and perform a variety of new interesting and useful activities. I learned how to create and maintain a client data-base, support the CitI offices in the region, providing marketing materials, training, etc."

"The environment is one where people almost always worked together to get the job done."

"Do your research into what business group within CitI you are interviewing for. Try and find trends on layoffs and the competitive landscape for that product. You don't want to start a job that won't be around in 12 - 18 months."

What don't you like about working at CitiGroup?

"Lack of mobility. Senior and mid-level managers were almost always brought in from outside while qualified employees even had trouble moving laterally."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't lay people off, expect those that are left to do more, then give your top leadership tens of millions of dollars in bonuses. It does nothing but drag down the morale of those that are left."

"the inability of management to understand proper goals and set goals to be reached"

"A very unpleasant place to work. Incompetent management (in most instances), creating almost hostile work environment."

"Don't interview unless the alternative income source if crim inal in nature - and then, ONLY if we're talking a Class A felony!"

"I enjoyed the enviornment and education experience my superiors provided, but it wasn't the right place for me."

"The group brainstorming and the attitute of my superiors towards all the interns. They made sure we did not just perform busy work, but actually learned about business and finance."

"The life of a financial advisor. It was not the appropriate career path for me."

"They had a very customer focused attitude. I was in collections and are goal was to reabilitate the customers. Get them current so they could use their card again and remain loyal customers."

"The onky thing I did not like was its distance from my home."

"Mobility options; excellent mentoring program; products and services were kept simple to drive revenue yet also offer an outstanding customer experience; plenty of resources available to hit individual and branch goals"

"About 10% of activities included collection calls. While I became proficient at this task, it wasn't exactly an enjoyable one."

"Management was nothing short of excellent and extremely competent"
