"CIRM is a wonderful CA state agency with an unbeatable mission - fund research in the stem cell area to promote scientific advancement and ultimately disease cures. It is located in San Francisco, CA and filled with bright and focused scientists."
"While I was there, CIRM was a dynamic, groundbreaking agency which a small group of us created from scratch in conjunction with the 29 founding board members. It has since reached a steady state, which overall is a good thing, but in this case has devolved into a lack of creativity or innovation and just an operation at status quo or worse. I would not recommend this as a place to work for anyone interested in a professional growth opportunity or working on the cutting edge of anything."
