What do you like about working at Cintas?

"I was only in the office two days a week for 4 hours each day. It was great to set my own schedule. The support and training was great. No reason to fail unless your sales manager is bad."

"Stress consistent and persistent daily effort and keeping you pipeline full. Acknowledge Cintas as the expert in the industry and a willingness to learn what has made them successful."

What don't you like about working at Cintas?

"Getting approval for accounts was sometimes tough for me, because the GM only looked at pricing being by the book. There was not a lot of room for even reasonable negotiating, which other branches didn't have a problem with. I lost some really big accounts because of that."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"With such a structured sales process and business model, it's easy to treat your sales people like kids. Give them some room to learn without belittling them."

What do you like about working at Cintas?

"The people you work with are great. Management is laughable."

"This company will invest in great training for you and will set a good foundation for your future. Depending on your management you can either go very far or be stuck. Your success is ultimately in the numbers you can't control and if you do find away to control them they will change the structure."

What don't you like about working at Cintas?

"Everything is corporate mandated and nobody can make a decision without it having to go through 10 people."

"Trust your employees and don't ask them to do questionable things that jeopardize their job."

"I did not like not having the access to sell all the products, and I gave a lot of business away to the uniform rep that did not do jack."

"Set up a confidential online review for employees to give feedback without the fear of retaliation."
