What do you like about working at Cintas?

"I was only in the office two days a week for 4 hours each day. It was great to set my own schedule. The support and training was great. No reason to fail unless your sales manager is bad."

"Stress consistent and persistent daily effort and keeping you pipeline full. Acknowledge Cintas as the expert in the industry and a willingness to learn what has made them successful."

What don't you like about working at Cintas?

"Getting approval for accounts was sometimes tough for me, because the GM only looked at pricing being by the book. There was not a lot of room for even reasonable negotiating, which other branches didn't have a problem with. I lost some really big accounts because of that."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"With such a structured sales process and business model, it's easy to treat your sales people like kids. Give them some room to learn without belittling them."

"Goal oriented, growing company, stable company and has tremendous training."

"Learn and read about our culture. The individual can be the best sales person but they have to make sure they are a culture fit as well."

"Managers can't make a decision without it having to go through the upper levels of mgmt. While suggestions for process improvements in your specific work area are welcomed, the overall decision on whether it happens is left with upper mgmt who are not performing the day to day tasks to realize the benefits of the suggestion. No work from home allowed."

"Allow the managers to manage and implement quick win changes in the work environment."

"The people you work with are great. Management is laughable."

"This company will invest in great training for you and will set a good foundation for your future. Depending on your management you can either go very far or be stuck. Your success is ultimately in the numbers you can't control and if you do find away to control them they will change the structure."

"Everything is corporate mandated and nobody can make a decision without it having to go through 10 people."

"Trust your employees and don't ask them to do questionable things that jeopardize their job."

"I am free to make my own schedule, kinda. Not always the case."

"Company does not appreciate its middle managers. We bend over backwards for ungrateful front-line partners but do not engage managers."

"More communication and engagement with partners. We are a lot of talk and do not deliver. Provide a clear vision of the future."
