"First, CHRISTUS is a great company. I believe they will continue to grow and prosper. But their AP department is a mess. They recently hired an AP Director who is a micromanaging control freak. She has no problem singling out an employee and humiliating and belittling them in front of the entire department. Morale is low several employees have left and several others are looking for new jobs. Things need to change in their AP Department or they will continue to lose employees."

"The Job Flexibility and autonomy are unprecedented. The respect that I receive from management at all levels makes me feel valued."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be relaxed, be yourself, and be honest about what you know and who you are. Christus USFHP is one of those rare places where you can be yourself."

What don't you like about working at Christus Health?

"The commute is terrible from spring to 610 and 290. I took a large pay cut for job flexibility in order to attend school for pre-med. That plan is now shot do to lack of family support and my wife's recent pregnancy. I now need to get my I.T. career back on track. I am interested in moving into a management role and do not have the growth opportunities that I require at my current place of employment."

"The management at Christus USFHP is among the best that I have worked with. My advise is to keep up the good work."

"Laid back low stress. Very flexible schedule, they deal well with my BS"

"If your ambitious, try someplace else. If you want a relaxed relatively stable environment then this is the place for you."

What don't you like about working at Christus Health?

"There is now room for growth. My responsibilities are seldom challenging and hold very little meaning for me. I would rather be saving the world or at least a few lives."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The people would come first. As a Christian charity each associate would be aware of how we are helping the community. I would provide the best health benefits on earth. A happy and healthy workforce is a highly productive workforce"

"I felt like I was not appreciated for my skills. And a bit overworked"

"Create a more creative environment and allow workers to have more say in policy."
