"Employees appreciate recognition when they have performed a job well done. Working in a happy place, rather than a sweatshop is also great for employee retention strategies."

"There were no performance-based bonuses offered; no incentive to be a top performer. Top performers were overlooked."

"Offer performance-based bonuses and recognize accomplishments."
