"If you like chaos, bad management, no communication, favoritism, kindergarten snacks given instead of a bonus, no common sense, no advancement, fast turn over, no care for good employees, could care less if you are good or not. No rewards, no bonus, no holidays off. (Only Christmas) Not family oriented, hard to get off if you are injured. There is little good to say. Only that the pay is ok, but they stop raises after 4 years, hoping that you quit."
"Not organized, dishonesty in having employees grow. They pick who they like and basically like teachers pet, if you suck up to the team leads, only way you can move up. They raised our pay and took it away. They do not respect your time nor if you have issues, they just want you to work like a robot and talk behind your back with management. They sent updates via laptop during covid-19 which made my work hard and because of that I was let go. Not a lot of people can handle call centers but if you can and you like sucking up and gossiping, then go for it."
"Working for Charter was actually a pleasure! The pay wasn't bad and the training was perfect. By the time I got to the floor, I succeeded highly due to the training. The only problem I had would've been the team leads because they unfortunately had some attitude and morale issues. I'm not sure why, but when it came to asking for help, I was made to feel like I was not valid in any way, shape, or form. I tried my best anyway, because that's who I am. Had I been assigned another team lead, maybe things would have turned out better."
"Not really what I thought it was, pays good though but not good"
"Chewy is a fast-growing company and leads the e-commerce network in the pet supplies industry. They care about their people and the culture they have is great! They do not look at you as just a number but they care about the person you are and what goes on in your life outside of work. They are ever-changing to grow and adapt to improve their performance. You will work with some very talented people that will help you develop and inspire your own talents. Chewy is a great company and I would recommend it to anyone."
"Management needs some reworking."
"I've worked for Chewy.com for the last year. They have rapidly grown over the last few years into a pet supply powerhouse. There are many strengths to this company, but, as with many new companies, there are some growing pains that they are still grappling with."
"I’ve worked for Chewy.com for 3 years. Overall the company is growing and the morale is very positive. They’re focused on being the go to place for pet parents and doing a tremendous job at that."
"Must be agile and adaptable and move at a fast pace."
"Chewy has grown rapidly and while it tries to retain its startup culture, it is leaning towards a more structured corporate workplace which is eating at the pace of innovation. While the footprint is growing the company does still bestows on its employees a high level of autonomy and ownership which coupled with driven individuals, makes it a great place to work, experiment and grow."
"Great hours, friendly staff, and excellent benefits."
"Decent place to work if you’re looking for easy money, supervisors don’t really care much about their employees! This company recycles its employees due to the chaotic and demanding nature of the job. Turnover rate is very high."
"I’ve worked for Chewy for almost a year. This has been one of the best places I’ve worked this far. The atmosphere is always very energetic, and relaxed. You’re always able to find a helpful lead, and throughout the day you get to play with some of the cutest pups ever! The compensation and benefits are great, and moving up is easy, as long as you make it a goal, and work hard. Overall I would definitely recommend Chewy as a great place to work."
"Excellent and good with nice environment"
"I’ve worked for chewy since august of 2018. I can say the best job I ever had. Fun environment, great supervisors. Overall a fun job just needs to up the pay a little bit more."
