Marketing Coordinator

"Company culture is very conservative. Employee lacked growth opportunity, but compensation was very good."

Customer Service Representative

"Unappreciated employee."

What do you like about working at Chevron?

"Meeting new customers, my assistant manager is more friendly and courteous than the store manager."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you speak with the store manager be aware that he is rude and obnoxious when calling in for reference check."

What don't you like about working at Chevron?

"Manager is unfair, unappreciative, and lacks of discipline on other workers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Follow the handbook. You need to act like an actual manager. If an employee is late for more than 30 minutes, don't adjust their clock in time, write them up. Better yet, suspend or fire that employee. If you have an employee that works hard and keeps the store presentable and well-stocked, issue that employee a recognition certificate or a promotion for all their hard work. Don't treat them like crap like you did with me."
