What do you like about working at Cherokee Nation?

"My immediate supervisor and most of those I supervised. I was allowed to operate and grow the business."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"During my tenure, I witnessed racism at its worst. Double standards in terms of how associates were dealt with, if they were Cherokee, well give them a chance, if not get rid of them. Their casinos are going to be successful despite themselves. Im still in gaming and Native American Gaming and I see it can be better if you are not Native American."

What don't you like about working at Cherokee Nation?

"The culture, it was constantly pointed out that I was not Native American and a Cherokee. Racism at its best."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If you are not Cherokee, look out, keep your head down and that might not help."
