"Absurdly unprofessional and hostile workplace environment. CEO's mistress installed as de facto leader. She routinely abused employees across the entire company. Incompetence of family ownership eventually resulted in demise. Stay far away from the remnants of this dysfunctional organization."
"I've worked at Channing Bete for two years and in that time I have seen many talented, energetic people leave the company because it's an awful place to work. Never have I seen a company that requires a person to report to a central authority if he/she intends to leave 5 minutes early or if running an errand at lunch that would take one off-site (even if the errand will fit within the strictly monitored 30 minute lunch period). I am surprised bathroom breaks are not timed and monitored."
