"I loved the opportunity to be able to share my thoughts and ideas. To be able to use what I know and teach the employees the ins and outs, even shortcuts to get their job done easier and quicker. There was no downside to being a Cerner consultant. Just to satisfy that everything can be improved, I was hired on go live day. No one knew what my strengths were, or even what my capabilities were. I used my time wisely to obtain security clearances, and learn the differences of the version I was used to and the new version. Answer questions and teach some of the front end users. Then get with supervisors and report what I was working on during a slow(ish) time of the day. Where we compared notes and each day gained more confidence as to what additional assignments would be given to me."

What do you like about working at ECCO Select?

"Easy to work with and are honest. Any project they have offered, I have been put on and they have kept me busy."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just be honest about your availability and try to be open to working the longer projects. You get the most experience that way anyways."

What don't you like about working at ECCO Select?

"There aren't any benefits offered, which is understandable for consultant work, but there is no room for advancement either."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Wish that management would have a way that consultants could communicate with each other. I'm not even sure how many consultants Ecco has."
