Software Developer

"- Flexible hours, if you give enough notice you can get almost any day off - You can hash out the hours you work in a day pretty easily, and can request half days off with proper notice - Great experience for learning the software development cycle and Dev-Ops - I have learned more here about software development within a company than any class at TAMU Cons - The hourly pay is okay, other companies in direct area pay part-timers more and give incremental pay raises as they gain more experience. - You get paid every month rather than every two weeks which is hard for college students. - You will be micro-managed when you start in training, but this goes away after you gain experience working on projects."
