The only thing I would say I learned is the tough working environment its projects are located, which helps any individual adapt to any job future wise. "Tell them what they want to hear. They like it when you patronize them."

"Bosses can be abusive. Tools can be scarce. Most jobs this company gets seems to be the leftover nasty dirty jobs that nobody else wants."

"Get off the friends and family plan. Sometimes good deserving workers are overlooked to accomodate friends and family."

"Care first and foremost about helping people. Be flexible, low maintenance and good team player."

"Worrying about funding all the time. Juggling budget constraints against needs of staff."

"I do run the day-to-day and report to a board of directors, so my responses related to the Board Chair. But I am the boss on the street. And I like that a lot!"

"Bring your very best to the interview. They don't pull any punches. They are all business and expect the same from their management team!!! That's why they have been around so long."

"Unfortunately, the economy caused a huge turn in the industrial contracting industry and the last 6 months were very slow. Therefore I didn't like not being busy all the time."
