"I really value the opportunity to see how such a large organization operates. Some of the lessons learned about how different departments interact with one another has helped me resolve issues with in the restaurants I worked."

"Interstate Hotels is a great company to learn about how to manage budgets and be efficeint while maintaining a high level of service."
What don't you like about working at Interstate Hotels & Resorts?
"The same thing I liked about it. There was often conflict between departments, because they were working towards their own goals immeadate goals."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Department heads needed to have their goals allign with the entire hotel's goals to foster a more cooperative enviroment between departments."

What do you like about working at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts?
"The Walt Disney Company is a great place for someone to begin or end their career. The opportunities are endless. Working in or around the theme parks adds a bonus, as you get to experience that magic whenever you want."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"There are a lot of candidates wanting every position. Disney loves to hire from within. Your best way to move about in the company is to get your foot in the door. Try accepting something that is in your job family and then move your way around. Good Luck!"
What don't you like about working at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts?
"The Walt Disney Company does tend to pay slightly under comparable jobs. The reason for this is that the benefits of working there are thought to balance out the difference in salary."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep the magic alive. The traditions of the company are the most important thing for you to keep a hold of. Over the last decade, the company has deviated from its roots, and that has caused the die-hard Disney fans to start to lose interest. In some cases, it is just another theme park or just another hotel."

"The challenge of sales packages to my clients and having them upgrade!"

"Be motivated and excited about all of the sales opportunities."

"My supervisors had personal conflicts with one another which made working with them difficult at times."

"Leave the personal conflicts at the door and have a professional attitude during work hours."

"I liked it there until I wanted to pursue a higher degree during my weekends off, which my managers weren't supportive of."

"Brookside was a comfortable place to learn and gain experience. The owners promoted a relaxed, professional, and caring enviroment."

"Get to know your clients. It gave me so much insite to my performance and made work really enoyable."
What don't you like about working at Brookside Country Club?
"It was a family owned operation with little room for future career growth."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I worked at Brookside many years ago when empowerment was not an option. People just did as they were directed. I would suggest if they haven't changed yet, to allow employees to provide thoughts and suggestions and invite an open work environment."
